Allowed Sound Studio is the work Andy Ramesh Meyers does as recording engineer, audio producer, masterer, arranger, and session player, for singer-songwriters, indi rock and country bands, reggae bands (Ramesh loves dub), and jazz artists. It's his remote work catching recordings and one or two camera DVD shoots of concerts, including community choirs and orchestras.
It’s also the work he does squeezing the most out of home recordings, on-the-fly stereo recordings and archival recordings from years and decades past, lending his pro ears and gear to your you-tube, soundcloud, and website recordings to make them shine. Focusing the audio on these recordings can make the difference between them making you sound great, or not.
Allowed Sound Studio is the work Andy Ramesh Meyers does as a songwriting coach and in his “Language of Song” workshop. It’s his work as a composer and music director in over 50 theatrical productions.
Allowed Sound Studio is also the name of the facility Ramesh operates on Saltspring Island in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. Ramesh can do any of this work at his home base, at a remote location, or via the internet.
